Well I survived and I am rather please with my average pace Well I have gone over my £200 pound target with change thrown in the bucket as we went. Sandra This is the link to MapMyWalk https://www.mapmywalk.com/workout/3031192366 A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT ON A VERY HOT DAY YOU CAN STILL DONATE PLEASE GO TO THIS SITE TO DONATE https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sandrardawalk ![]() What an absolutely brilliant day! Thank you all so much for everything you did to make the show go smoothly and without a hitch. WFR is so lucky to have such a willing and cheerful group of volunteers. Even if you were unable to come today you have been part of the process which has made the children confident and competent enough to ride so well. All the children gave a good performance in a strange arena with a large audience butNathan had an exceptional ride on Milo. An example of real horsemanship. Many parents attended and were really pleased to see their children enjoying the riding and showing real concentration and skill. Several sponsors came to watch and were impressed not just with the riding but also the efficiency and obvious enjoyment of volunteers and children. Although the summer show is not primarily to fund raise we were given donations amounting to £1250 today. The Lions will also support 2 children again next year, DeBeers are having another Fashion show on our behalf and Molly's employer has offered to support us too. Anona White (Regional Chairperson) and Jeannie Bird (County Chairperson) both attended and this helps to raise our profile within the county and the region. They were very impressed with the standard of riding and the organisation. Can I once again thank Guy for all he did organising this event especially coping with last minute changes which keep him on his toes. Thanks also go to Gilly Wheeler for giving her photography expertise freely, Glyn and Jill for dealing with the catering, the coaches for organising interesting activities and all volunteers who carried equipment to and fro in this heat, kept the ponies settled and cleared the arena at the end of the day. Every little thing is hugely appreciated. An enormous thank you to everyone. Jeannie Reynolds Chairperson
